The Greater House of Prayer Combined Choirs was founded by Pastor Galen W. Leverette in October of 2010 in Chicago, IL. The Choir is under the leadership of Professor Isaac Williams and the direction of Minister Cedric Nunley. The Choir sings a wide variety of music: oratorio, spirituals, traditional and contemporary gospel.
The Greater House of Prayer Combined Choir is the featured artist at the Chicago House of Blues Kirk Franklin Sunday Gospel Brunch. They recently performed at 2015 Chicago Gospel Festival, opened for Bishop Marvin Sapp and many other concerts across the country.
The Choir released their first CD, entitled “Miracle” on the Christian Boy Productions Label, August 15, 2014, sponsored by University of Chicago’s Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts.
