Movie Night is held every 3rd Friday of the month in the church Fellowship Hall. This new series began in 2015 to broaden the understanding of bring a Christian in the 21st century. The purpose of Movie Night is to help Christians become victorious in moral, social and spiritual battles.
Movie night is entertaining, filled with fellowship, and has an amazing educational basis. Films are selected and previewed by Pastor Leverette. Movies have a direct correlation to the unit or series being taught in the weekly bible class. These films have faith based scripts, popular story lines and filled with A-list actors.
Attendees see popular actors in faith-based films which make the movies relatable to everyone. All movies are filled with action, humor, drama, intrigue, moral dilemmas, common family and relationship issues that challenge Christian belief, understanding and behaviors.
There is no admission charge! Refreshments are served from the GHOP Concession Stand. Grab a box of our fresh, hot popcorn, take a seat and enjoy the show!
